OK for the money. it is very loud, you can hear the hard drive buzz the whole time during normal operations. Annoying as hell. for the money it is pretty fast though. the top of the case was cracked when i received it. the whole experience is Just Alright for me. Not really Blowing me away.....

I bought this computer a couple of months ago and am enjoying it. However, I had to go through a lot to get here. It arrived with malfunctioning memory that left me embarrassed in front of a client while my computer kept malfunctioning. I contacted ASUS, only to be told to mail to them the unit at my own expense. I could have returned it for free to amazon since it was a defective computer. However, because of the excellent deal and because no more were available at the time I chose to buy $20 worth of memory and fix the problem myself. I was disappointed in Asus' unwillingness to cover all my expenses since the problem was their fault. Thankfully, if the problem had been an expensive one I could have returned it to amazon for free. I encourage you to buy only from amazon directly since, as evidenced by my experience, buying from an outside vendor can leave you with a very expensive solution.
All that being said, now that my computer is working correctly, it's fast, nicely-sized, and well designed. A good very good buy!
